This video was the first assignment of the Visual Story class, as part of the Entertainment Technology Center first year curriculum. The purpose of the video is to simply introduce the members of our team to the class.

The story of the video was motivated by the theme song to Dragnet. We wanted to do a play off of an old style chase scene using a seemingly related montage of shots with a surprising twist at the end. It was our goal to set up a 'good guy bad guy' at the beginning with the actors at the bench acting like detectives and the two actors walking down the street act like hoodlums, and use editing and time-stretching to create the chase scene between the 4 actors. Some of our shots were pre-planned and some were on the spot decisions made based upon the location in which we decided to film.

Actor: I played myself :)

Camera Man: Filmed some of the running shots and staged many of the action shots.

Editor: Co-edited the entire film.
