This video was the fifth and final assignment of the Visual Story class, as part of the Entertainment Technology Center first year curriculum. The purpose of the video was to create a music video. We chose to use the song: A Cause des Garcons by Yelle, remixed by TEPR.

We chose not to throw too much narrative into this video, but instead chose to play with the idea that you are following the story of this record as it changes hands between this group of friends. It was our goal to have the narrative be specific and interesting enough for it to spark your imagination but shallow enough for the viewer to jump in and out of it as they please, as we felt this would be the best way to support this style of upbeat euro-dance. The song has a bit of a tendency to repeat itself so we tried to manage interest with the climactic dance scene with the abrupt silence, returning to the idea that the music comes from this 'magical' record.

Actor: I played the guy who picks out the record in the record store, and danced in the dance scene.

Editor: I edited all of the footage before the dance scene.

Producer: Prepared necessary props and equipment, scheduled meetings and filming.
